This is the homepage of the Collaborative Research Network (CRN) on EU-China Relations, supported by the University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES). The CRN is funded for the period of 2012-15 and is open to all UACES members and beyond.
UACES Collaborative Research Network (CRN) aims to develop a vibrant interdisciplinary academic community in order to promote the exchange of ideas, to encourage research collaboration for high quality academic research among European, Chinese and other scholars, and last but not least to produce policy-relevant analysis for practitioners/policy-makers and civil society interested in Europe-China affairs. Such a CRN has the potential to bring together scholars not only from international relations and political sciences, but also from other academic fields such as sociology, geography, psychology, history and legal studies etc., who are working on the contemporary issues between Europe and China. It is thus an international platform capable of delivering on the promise of genuine interdisciplinary exchange and takes existing research beyond the current state-of-the-art.
